Volunteer
We need you anyTime between June 21–25!
The Ride for Mental Health is an annual fundraising event that brings together friends, families, youth and civic groups, and other organizations to ride or support riders through volunteering.
Volunteers are essential to the success of this event. Given the dynamic nature of a bike ride, there are opportunities for everyone. Hosting a rest stop, checking in riders, cheering at the finish line, providing course support, or checking route signs are all vital to the ride. Join the team and make a difference!
If you want to help, we guarantee we can find a place for you! Browse jobs listed under ‘Programs’ on our volunteer page, or fill out our volunteer registration form and we’ll find the best spot for you.
Have any special skills? We’ll put you to work! Let us know if you have any experience as a bike mechanic, first aid certifications, or have participated in a ride organization before.
If you or your community group would like to join us on our mission to help people who suffer from mental illness, please contact us today. Volunteering at this event will be fun, interactive, and important work. We can accommodate and organize groups of all sizes and can (by request) provide documentation of volunteer/community service hours.
If you have questions, want to learn more, or discuss bringing your group to the ride, contact Angela Degrassi, the Ride for Mental Health Volunteer Coordinator.
We at the Ride for Mental Health believe in inclusivity and strive to create an environment in which everyone is welcome to join in the experience of our events. As a rider, volunteer, or spectator, you are invited to participate regardless of your race, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or physical ability.
